M&C Saatchi has just turned 15 and on 28 October we threw a big party to celebrate.
Since day dot it’s always been our way to play just as hard as we work.
Similar knees ups were held to celebrate turning 5 and 10 as they are every year to gather the tribe for Christmas, Kids Christmas, Agency of the Year triumphs, big account wins and many other worthy occasions. But it’s not all in the name of raising a glass or three to toast success.
Although we’re big we’re a tight-knit bunch. Every day we share news, ideas, milestones and laughs around our chatty social email hub. Scholarships to overseas offices in our network are up for grabs for Aussie staff who excel themselves.
Every year we put our bodies on the line and run the likes of the City to Surf for great causes like Cancer Research. We get behind staff doing heroic things like managing partner Richard Morewood’s Blisters & Bravado - a grueling 250k run across the Kimberley Desert to raise much needed funds and awareness for Pancreatic Cancer in memory of Avner Nahmani.
Senior Account Manager Kirsty Acland has a similar motivation to tackle the Melbourne Marathon in support of The Australian Lung Foundation, after losing someone who inspired her life.
Karate master, CFO Jeff Krug, knocks staff from the Sydney agency into shape with regular lunchtime sessions.
And knowing you are what you eat, resident chef Lu Beal keeps the Sydney office deliciously healthy with her daily delights from the café.
Fruit and coffee is free as are drinks from the bar every Friday.
We’re a well-rounded bunch here at M&C Saatchi.
We do moderation here – but only in moderation.
