M&C Saatchi makes its Mark on Mumbrella Awards
News |
M&C Saatchi’s digital, data and direct arm Mark is a finalist for two Mumbrella Awards.
Mark is shortlisted for Specialist Agency of the Year, while its gong-gathering machine Build with Chrome is in the running for Campaign of the Year at Mumbrella’s 2013 Awards.
We’re also rapt with the news that the CommBank Can team is a finalist for Marketing Team of the Year.
Mark ticked all the boxes to show consistent excellence for the past year across its work, culture, innovation, bravery, commercial success, industry impact and momentum, to make the final reckoning for Specialist Agency of the Year.
Build with Chrome, Mark’s collaboration with Google and North Kingdom, gets yet another chance to add to its bulging trophy cabinet.
The campaign, that has engaged millions around the world to build their virtual Lego creations via Google’s browser, has won metal in every major award show.
The reigning AdNews and B&T Digital Campaign of the Year is fresh from winning Gold and Silver pencils at the globally prestigious One Show Interactive Awards in New York earlier this month.
The previous week Build won the People’s Voice Award for Best Online Campaign at the Webby’s – known worldwide as the “Oscars of the Internet”, soon after shortlisting for a D&AD Yellow Pencil.
This follows mass gongs at Clio, AWARD Awards, Caples, ADMA, AWWWARDS and an FWA Site of the Day last September.
The Mumbrella Award winners will be named at a ceremony at The Star in Sydney on the evening of Thursday 6 June, hosted by The Project’s Charlie Pickering.
Good luck teams.
