M&C Saatchi ACE ADMAs with 19 finalists

M&C Saatchi is a finalist for 19 ADMA Australian Creativity and Effectiveness Awards (AC&Es) over 11 campaigns for seven clients.

The haul places us in the top three agencies in Australia. Clever Buoy (pictured above), our project that created breakthrough shark detection technology to demonstrate the power of the Optus network, made a big splash with the judges, who selected it as a finalist in five categories. CommBank Cricket Club was another big hit, in the running for three gongs. ‘See More Inside’ (two finalists) and ‘You Can Tap’ made it a total of six CommBank campaigns in the finals mix. Our work for Google also proved popular, with two campaigns (Google Play ‘Entertainment Stopover’ and ‘Start Flying with Google Colours’) making three shortlists. Campaigns for Monika’s Doggie Rescue, QUIT, CPA and Pizza Hut rounded out the M&C Saatchi nominations. The reconfigured AC&E program rewards work that demonstrates creativity and effectiveness in equal measure for the first time in 35 years of ADMA Awards. ADMA received nearly 550 entries this year, reviewed by 52 industry-leading judges in areas such as marketing, media, data, content, technology, social and creativity. The winners will be announced at a gala dinner at the Star in Sydney on Thursday, 30 October 2014.
