Re & M&C Saatchi win big for Optus & CommBank
Re’s Optus rebrand won top prize at the Create Design Awards in Melbourne last night, while in Sydney M&C Saatchi’s work for CommBank took home an ADMA AC&E
Re won the big gong, Project of the Year, as well as the Brand Identity Award for its head to toe overhaul of the Optus brand.
Re also won the Commercial Print Award for its IAG ‘Reconciliation Action Plan’ at branding design’s night of nights.
Meanwhile, M&C Saatchi’s ‘See More Inside’ work for CommBank won Data Visualisation and picked up a Highly Commended for Data Driven Mail at the ADMA Australian Creativity and Effectiveness Awards (AC&Es).
Three campaign for three clients were also awarded Highly Commendeds in four categories at the AC&Es.
Optus ‘Clever Buoy’ was Highly Commended in both Best Use of New Technologies and Ambient/Experiential.
‘Win the Scent of Love’ for Pizza Hut was Highly Commended in Print as was CPA ‘Be heard. Be recognised’ in Art Direction.
Back to Melbourne, the Create top prize continues Re’s winning ways for its landmark rebranding of Optus, that includes it being crowned the best rebrand on the globe by internationally acclaimed branding forum Brand New.
All up a good bolster to M&C Saatchi Group’s growing booty of precious metal.
